Week 1
Although I considered myself to be fairly computer savvy before this class started, I find that I am learning things about some of the programs that I use everyday. Nothing that I have learned is revolutionizing my computing experience by any means, but it is making my time spent on a computer more efficient and much less of a hassle. I was unaware of the ability to print a screen shot in word. This has come in handy several times since learning it in class. I have enjoyed learning about some of the different software programs available on the school's network, I just wish i would have had these tools available to me before while I was taking my secondary methods courses.

I agree. I thought I had a good grasp on using Word and Publisher but I have learned so much more that I could use in the classroom and this class would be most useful before or during your methods classes to use Inspiration software.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both. We didnt use any computer related anything in our methods class, and its surprising because by the time we are teachers, the technology is going to be unbelievable. (it actually already is). But we need to learn how to use all this stuff not only because its a great resource for us, but our students will probably know how to use a lot of it too. great job mike.
